First, introduce new works. Of course, this is still a new beginning. However, unfortunately black Dock can not be made on iOS 11.
Please check the support model and setting method of each download page.
Whole White Walls
It is a pure white wallpaper where Dock and folders disappear. However, the trick using size that were available from iOS 8.3 to 10.3 (except 10.0 to 10.1) are not available. I used a trick to adjust the lightness with black parts outside the display I used in iOS 7 to 8.2 (except 7.1).
But that is not as it was. The threshold of judgment has changed since iOS 9, so it is possible to reduce black parts.
Thanks to that, colors will not blur even if you put the folder in the top row. The color of the letters also gets brighter and fits to white. The finish can not be distinguished from the perfect white using the size.
Left for iOS 8, right is new. |
For
Sep. 26 postscript: On the iPad it probably cannot be used as there is no reasonable range. The square type can be used when you want to make the text color slightly darker (and the complete white without any blur on the Dock or the folders) with Plus iPhone.
Left for iOS 7, right is new |
I put the parts in the corner where the blind spot will be either vertical or horizontal. It is a trick I made for iPad in iOS 7, but this is also narrower than before.

When you add the page to the home screen, it becomes a white blank icon. Actually, in iOS 11 the white background is not perfectly white (R255 G255 B255). It will be (R254 G255 B255). The icon also matched its color. This color is inconspicuous even on pure white, even on white Dock prior to iOS 10.3 (R255 G 254 B255) or even on the iOS 11 white Dock (R253 G254 B255).
Invisible Dock
It is a wallpaper that makes the Dock invisible on bright colors. The background can be darker than the Magic Pastel or Magic Dock.
The coloring trick of the Dock by the size cannot be used, but I controlled the color of the Dock with just the color scheme. Although it is hardly seen, the color is slightly changed at the bottom. I adjusted the colors of the three layers behind the Dock and the four layers including the background so that the Dock and the background become the same color.
Elements have increased, making it extremely difficult. Nonetheless, once the procedure was decided, the destination was the same as before.
Rather than that, the problem is that the color of the Dock may change depending on screen size or device generation. Stable colors are limited.
Also, even if the background is too bright and the dock becomes dark, even if the contrast is high and the background becomes dark, its color does not match (even with the same color in Plus, it will be brighter than other screen sizes, so a solid color background is bad, I adjusted with a gradation).
If these restrictions are kept, two thirds part of the upper is free, so variation may be increased.
Because the height of the Dock is different for each screen size, the wallpaper is different.
For iOS 11, I've written Large for 5.5 inch screen, Middle for 4.7 inch and Small for 4 inch. Please note that the effect will not come out if the size is different.

Perhaps iOS 10.2/10.3 may be okay as the Dock is only a little expensive. Although it may be because the color gamut of the display is narrow, I could use it on iOS 10.3 iPhone 5.
Quite Dock
The mechanism is the same as the Invisible Dock.
However, this will be dark on the home screen. Because of that it cannot be said that it cannot be seen even if the same color, because you can see the hairline on the Dock.
Instead, the top color is more free than the Invisible Dock. It will be OK unless it gets too bright.

This may also be a good fight with iOS 10.2/10.3.
Color Dock
It is the wallpaper that colors the Dock clearly.
In iOS 11, the coloring effect of a small size disappeared, but there is still a way to color the Dock. The folder is undefined, so far.
I just put a color on the Dock. But simply doing so will be as below.
If the combination is bad the dock will be eroded. |
Only some reason, depending on the combination with the background color, it will hardly interfere with the Dock. I have no idea why.

This trick has just started and I feel like I can make quite a lot. There are also many color combinations.
It may also be available on iOS 10.2/10.3.

It is wallpapers that made a gradation with medium density. Contrast can not be higher than a certain value, regardless of any icon.
I made a remake it with the size that can be set with iOS 11.

You can use it in old iOS.
Color Trends Fall 2017 Remade
I made it with size and format that can be set in iOS 11.
The effect is lower than iOS 10.2-10.3, but it makes the Dock and folders a little more daunting.

If it is a small wallpaper, it will not necessarily be so. If the wallpaper has a height that does not disturb the gradation, it will not be different from normal, so it may be due to degradation of image quality. There was a phenomenon similar to this which seems to be due to deterioration of peripheral quality at iOS 8 (That was more terrible.).
NeoClassic Wallpapers
Wallpapers with iOS 6 - like folders that look like current iOS. In addition to the Dock. It matched the Dock with its height changed on iOS 11.
Color variations are decreasing. Instead, I put a color matching the frame on the grid of the icon part which was only gray in the previous work.
Is there still a request to blank out the bottom row?

4 inch iPhone Only the dots on the dock are clogged up, so I narrow the frame of the dock and put it under it.
I replaced wallpaper which became monochrome
In iOS 11, when you use a compressed PNG image as wallpaper, it may be monochrome. Although it is a format that is not very common as a wallpaper, it is heavily used on this site.
The advantage of commonly used JPG is that you can significantly reduce the amount of information-intensive images like pictures.
However, even if it cannot be determined by looking at it, the quality will be low. There are many wallpapers that cannot be compressed by the delicate tricks on this site, and if it can not lower quality, it is often heavier than PNG. PNG also tends to be lighter for simple images. Compared to a compressed JPG with the highest quality, uncompressed PNG may be lighter.
Anyway, I can solve them by making them JPG or PNG without compression. The following wallpapers have already replaced formats. Sorry to trouble you if you have wallpaper that became monochrome after iOS 11 please download again.

Whether monochromatization occurs even with the same wallpaper depends on the model, maybe there is an oversight. At that time, please let me know in the comments or Twitter.

Even though it is already obsolete, some wallpapers that you could use if you forcibly use, it may be affected by the size that can not be set or monochrome.
Absolutely, black Dock and round folders cannot be created in iOS 11, but there are wallpapers that I can recover if I change a little way.
I have not been able to reach all the ideas (also) this time. I will make it various again and look forward to it.
Sep. 26 postscript: Because of the extreme darkening of the iPad the following wallpapers can not be used on the iPad.

Although the Dock is not hidden, the folders cannot be seen or it gets dark, but the Dock cannot be seen. Strange things will happen.
Amazing collection.
